Other Creative Endeavors

I am a creative. Having the opportunity to be creative and help others is what makes me thrive and brings me happiness. My husband, Mark, calls me a "Make Something Woman," because I'm ALWAYS making something, be it graphic design work, making music, paintings, jewelry, blankets...and more!

I am personally inspired creatively by words, art, nature, the people in my life, God, beauty, meaning, love, community and the world around me.

I am professionally inspired by the needs of my employer and clients. While there are particular styles of design that I am personally drawn to more than others, my personal preferences aren't the priority on any given design project. The preferences, goals and needs of those requesting the work are.

I approach each job with a mindset of creating visual communication that speaks to the world on behalf of each project owner. The objective for each project is to meet or exceed the desired marketing goals, communicate effectively to the target audience and bring positive results.
